CPD open day Friday 18 May
Most people arrived at 10am on a cold overcast day, starting with a tour of our factory and a short trek to our redundant bottle kiln, which is listed on the industrial buildings register. Some of the architects had a go at throwing a brick under the supervision of Sean, Jamie and Phil, our trio of makers.
Lunch was served at 12.30pm followed by a talk on conservation in brickwork by Simon Hay, CEO of the Brick Development Association.
It would appear to be a great success according to the positive feedback received via email
